Fashion Design For Designers by Designers
The Other Side of the Fashion Industry
Please Note: The new site design and update are still in progress, so please pardon our appearance and bear with us while we work out all the kinks and finish getting all of our downloads and content back on the site. Thank you for your patience!
***A note to our longtime Designers Nexus Visitors: With the new site design, you’ll notice a few changes to the way you can download content. Despite our best efforts to keep the site without memberships, we had to create Free memberships due to the increase of content abuse and violations of our Terms of Service. An added bonus to memberships, is that we can get to know more about what our visitors are looking for, which helps us serve you better! In addition, to keep the site from slowing down or crashing due to bandwidth use, we had to limit downloads to 15 files per day. We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause, and we hope you’ll visit us often to keep downloading your favorite fashion templates!
Even if you’ve downloaded our templates in the past, you’ll find that we’ve tweaked, refined, and in some cases completely overhauled our previous content to give you better quality and workability with more improvements to come!
As professional fashion designers with over 30 years of combined experience in the apparel industry, we’ve received tons of questions about the fashion industry from how to become a fashion designer, to what a fashion design portfolio should really include, tips for using fashion CAD programs, where to look for design jobs, and what skills fashion companies really expect from apparel designers – just to name a few. There is so much information out there about the fashion industry, but it’s pretty scattered and no one really knows what to look for or where to find it!
We created Designers Nexus to be a central resource for fashion industry tools and information. We work hard to make sure all of our fashion design templates are high quality, and our industry resources provide valuable information. We know this is a huge undertaking, and we appreciate your patience as we continuously collect and add resources to the site. We also welcome your feedback, comments, suggestions, and any knowledge you wish to share.
We hope you enjoy exploring our site and that you find our content helpful. Please visit our sister site at www.mypracticalskills.com for additional fashion design tools, tutorials and other products for fashion industry professionals. And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or your other favorite social media channels!
